JAKARTA, iNews.id — Perdana Menteri SingapuraLawrence Wong menegaskan bahwa pemerintahnya tengah menelusuri sejumlah perusahaan yang diduga bertanggung jawab atas kebakaran hutan dan lahan di Indonesia. Asap pekat dari karhutla tersebut telah menyebabkan kabut asap lintas batas yang memperburuk kualitas udara di negeri singa.

Singapura menyatakan tidak akan segan menggunakan instrumen hukum Transboundary Haze Pollution Act (Undang-Undang Polusi Kabut Asap Lintas Batas). Aturan yang berlaku sejak September 2014 ini memberikan kewenangan bagi Singapura untuk menindak tegas perusahaan yang berkontribusi terhadap pencemaran kabut asap di wilayahnya, meski aktivitas operasional perusahaan tersebut berlangsung di luar negeri.

Berdasarkan laporan warga negara Indonesia (WNI) yang menetap di sana, kualitas udara di Singapura telah berada dalam kategori tidak sehat hingga sangat tidak sehat dalam dua pekan terakhir. Indeks standar polusi (PSI) 24 jam tercatat berada di kisaran 150 hingga 230, atau setara dengan kisaran AQI 190 hingga 250. Kondisi ini membuat jarak pandang terbatas dan memaksa warga membatasi aktivitas luar ruangan.

Pemerintah Singapura sendiri telah mengeluarkan surat peringatan resmi kepada beberapa perusahaan yang terindikasi menjadi sumber titik api, serta menyiapkan fasilitas subsidi khusus kesehatan bagi warga yang mulai mengalami gangguan pernapasan.

Sementara itu, dampak kabut asap karhutla dari Kalimantan dan Sumatera juga terpantau mulai menyebar ke sejumlah wilayah di Indonesia, termasuk atmosfer DKI Jakarta, Jawa Barat, dan Banten. Berdasarkan pantauan Badan Meteorologi, Klimatologi, dan Geofisika (BMKG), kualitas udara di Jakarta tercatat berada di angka indeks 187 dengan status tidak sehat.

Kendati demikian, pihak BMKG dan Pemerintah Provinsi DKI Jakarta mengimbau masyarakat agar tetap tenang dan tidak melakukan panic buying masker, mengingat sebaran asap terpantau masih berada di lapisan atas hingga tengah atmosfer.
