Dalam pernyataannya, Kementerian ATR menyebut beredar informasi di media sosial mengenai pemutihan sertipikat tanah dan pengurusannya tanpa perlu membayar kewajiban tertentu.

"Kami menegaskan bahwa informasi mengenai adanya program pemutihan sertipikat tanah yang mengatasnamakan BPN itu tidak benar. Sampai saat ini, Kementerian ATR/BPN tidak pernah memiliki ataupun menyelenggarakan program pemutihan sertipikat," ujar Kepala Biro Hubungan Masyarakat (Humas) dan Protokol, Shamy Ardian, saat ditemui di Kementerian ATR/BPN Jakarta, Senin (9/3/2026).

Tak hanya program pemutihan sertipikat tanah, Kepala Biro Humas dan Protokol Kementerian ATR/BPN juga menyampaikan bahwa informasi lain yang beredar mengenai penghapusan pajak tanah, serta gratis balik nama sertipikat, juga merupakan informasi yang tidak berdasar.

"Tidak ada yang namanya pemutihan atau penghapusan kewajiban di luar ketentuan, program percepatan pendaftaran tanah yang ada salah satunya Pendaftaran Tanah Sistematis Lengkap atau PTSL. Program ini bertujuan memberikan kepastian hukum hak atas tanah masyarakat secara sistematis, terstruktur, dan dapat dipertanggungjawabkan" kata Shamy Ardian.

Dia mengingatkan bahwa berbagai informasi yang menjanjikan kemudahan berlebihan atau pembebasan biaya patut dicermati. Sebab, bisa jadi informasi tersebut tidak benar dan merupakan penipuan.

"Kami mengimbau masyarakat untuk selalu memastikan kebenaran informasi melalui kanal resmi ATR/BPN, baik lewat situs web, media sosial yang terverifikasi, maupun dengan datang langsung ke kantor pertanahan setempat," tegas Shamy.
