Liputan6.com, Jakarta - Laju Indeks Harga Saham Gabungan (IHSG) tumbang pada penutupan perdagangan saham Jumat, 16 Oktober 2026. Tekanan IHSG ini terjadi usai penyedia indeks global MSCI mengumumkan mulai konsultasi untuk klasifikasi ulang status pasar saham Indonesia menjadi standalone market dari sebelumnya emerging market. Di tengah tekanan IHSG berdampak terhadap penyusutan kapitalisasi pasar saham.

Mengutip data Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI), ditulis Sabtu (17/10/2026), IHSG anjlok 11,57% menjadi 5.185,10. Jelang akhir pekan, IHSG sempat berada di level terendah 5.185,10 dan level tertinggi 5.404,50.

Transaksi perdagangan saham juga cukup ramai. Total volume perdagangan saham mencapai 67,59 miliar saham dengan nilai transaksi Rp 32 triliun. Di sisi lain, total frekuensi perdagangan saham 2,11 juta kali transaksi.

Investor asing mencatat aksi jual saham mencapai Rp 3,34 triliun. Seiring aksi jual itu menambah tekanan jual saham oleh investor asing mencapai Rp 88,19 triliun.

Senior Technical Analyst PT Mirae Asset Sekuritas Indonesia, Nafan Aji menuturkan, koreksi IHSG setelah pengumuman MSCI merupakan refleksi meningkatnya risk premium terhadap pasar modal Indonesia. Tekanan ini tidak semata-mata dipicu oleh ancaman reklasifikasi status pasar, tetapi juga oleh kekhawatiran investor terhadap transparansi struktur kepemilikan saham, keakuratan data free float, kredibilitas pembentukan harga, serta efektivitas penegakan hukum di pasar modal.

“Respons pasar menjadi kuat karena isu MSCI menyentuh aspek fundamental kepercayaan investor institusi global, yang menggunakan standar indeks dan tata kelola sebagai bagian dari proses alokasi aset,” ujar Nafan.

Selain itu, ia menuturkan, akumulasi sentimen negatif domestik dan global, termasuk pelemahan rupiah, ketidakpastian kebijakan, serta kecenderungan investor mengurangi risiko pada aset pasar berkembang, berpotensi memperbesar tekanan jual.

“Dengan demikian, ancaman reklasifikasi merupakan katalis yang mempercepat koreksi, sedangkan persoalan struktural dan kondisi makro menjadi faktor yang memperberat respons pasar,” kata dia.

Seiring tekanan IHSG itu, kapitalisasi pasar saham di BEI juga ikut anjlok. Dalam satu hari, kapitalisasi pasar saham BEI turun Rp 1.119 triliun menjadi Rp 9.157 triliun dari perdagangan Kamis, 15 Oktober 2026 di Rp 10.275 triliun.
