Liputan6.com, Jakarta - Menteri Kesehatan (Menkes) Budi Gunadi Sadikin menyebut enam puskesmas pembantu (pustu) di Sumatera Utara (Sumut) yang terdampak bencana harus dibangun kembali atau menjalani renovasi menyeluruh. Sejumlah fasilitas kesehatan tersebut mengalami kerusakan parah, bahkan ada bangunan yang hanyut terbawa arus banjir.

Budi mengatakan, bencana yang melanda Aceh, Sumatera Utara, dan Sumatera Barat berdampak pada hampir 100 rumah sakit (RS), sekitar 1.000 puskesmas, dan sekitar 2.000 pustu.

“Targetnya kita begitu melihat fasilitas kesehatan ini banyak sekali yang terdampak ya. Dan terdampak itu rumah sakit, contohnya sembilan benar-benar berhenti operasi karena memang banjirnya tinggi sekali dan lumpurnya tinggi sekali,” kata Budi di Kantor Kementerian Dalam Negeri, Jakarta, Kamis (15/10/2026).

Ia menjelaskan, beberapa pustu mengalami kerusakan berat karena berada di tepi sungai. Akibatnya, bangunan fasilitas kesehatan tersebut hanyut dan tidak lagi dapat digunakan. Pemerintah pun perlu mencari lahan baru untuk membangun fasilitas pengganti.

“Ada enam di Provinsi Sumatera Utara yang harus benar-benar dibangun kembali, ya. Atau kalau renovasi, renovasinya tuh benar-benar harus menyeluruh,” ungkap Budi.

Menurutnya, beberapa bangunan pustu bahkan sudah tidak ada sehingga tidak bisa sekadar diperbaiki. Pemerintah harus mencari tanah dan lokasi baru untuk pembangunan pustu.

“Malah beberapa juga sudah hilang, jadi kita mesti cari tanah baru, lokasi baru untuk dibangun pustu yang baru,” kata dia.

Pemulihan Fasilitas Kesehatan Terdampak Bencana

Pemerintah telah melakukan pemulihan fasilitas kesehatan secara bertahap. Budi menyampaikan, seluruh rumah sakit yang terdampak di tiga provinsi tersebut kembali beroperasi dalam waktu satu bulan setelah bencana. Meski belum seluruh layanan pulih sepenuhnya, layanan kesehatan yang sangat dibutuhkan masyarakat sudah dapat diberikan.

“Dan alhamdulillah satu bulan seluruh rumah sakit di tiga provinsi ini bisa beroperasi kembali. Tidak penuh, tapi setidak-tidaknya untuk layanan-layanan yang sangat diperlukan itu bisa dilakukan,” jelasnya.

Sementara itu, seluruh puskesmas terdampak kembali beroperasi dalam waktu sekitar 2,5 bulan. Adapun pemulihan operasional sekitar 2.000 pustu membutuhkan waktu hingga enam bulan.

Pembangunan Fisik Fasilitas Kesehatan Ditargetkan Rampung Bertahap

Budi menjelaskan, pemulihan fisik fasilitas kesehatan melibatkan Kementerian Kesehatan dan Kementerian Pekerjaan Umum (PU). Kementerian PU bertanggung jawab atas pembangunan fisik bangunan, sedangkan Kementerian Kesehatan menangani pengadaan alat kesehatan dan sarana pendukung lainnya.

Pemerintah menargetkan seluruh fasilitas kesehatan terdampak dapat kembali beroperasi pada 2026. Sementara itu, pemulihan fisik bangunan yang belum selesai akan dilanjutkan secara bertahap hingga 2027.
