Liputan6.com, Jakarta - Produsen mobil listrik asal China, XPeng menargetkan penjualan global mencapai 1 juta unit per tahun pada 2030. Menariknya, setengah dari penjualan tersebut atau sekitar 500.000 unit, diharapkan berasal dari pasar Eropa.

Disitat dari cnEVpost, perusahaan asal Tiongkok ini berencana memperluas kapasitas produksi lokal di kawasan tersebut untuk mewujudkan ambisi besarnya.

Target itu diungkapkan Chairman sekaligus CEO XPeng, He Xiaopeng dalam wawancara di ajang Paris Motor Show pada Senin (12/10/2026).

He menilai kapasitas produksi menjadi salah satu tantangan utama dalam mengembangkan bisnis XPeng di Eropa.

Perusahaan pun tengah berdiskusi dengan Magna International, mitra manufaktur kontraknya, untuk meningkatkan produksi di Austria serta menjajaki kemungkinan kerja sama produksi di negara Benua Biru lainnya.
