Liputan6.com, Jakarta - Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK) menyatakan gejolak pasar saham berdampak langsung terhadap kinerja investasi perusahaan asuransi, terutama asuransi jiwa yang memiliki porsi penempatan dana cukup besar pada instrumen ekuitas. Penurunan nilai investasi ini berpotensi memengaruhi tingkat solvabilitas perusahaan.

Kepala Departemen Pengawasan Asuransi dan Jasa Penunjang OJK, Sumarjono, menyampaikan bahwa perusahaan asuransi jiwa dengan porsi investasi saham yang dominan menjadi kelompok yang paling merasakan dampak dinamika pasar tersebut.

"Rata-rata memang mereka yang penempatan investasinya cukup banyak di saham," ujar Sumarjono dalam konferensi pers Hari Asuransi 2026, Selasa (20/10/2026).

Guna memetakan dampaknya secara terukur, OJK telah melakukan stress testing terhadap industri. Hasil pemantauan menunjukkan bahwa sejumlah perusahaan mengalami penurunan tingkat solvabilitas hingga di bawah batas minimum yang ditetapkan regulator, yakni 120%.

"Dari sisi kami, tentu kami meminta komite investasi di masing-masing perusahaan untuk duduk bersama kembali dan menentukan arah strategi ke depannya," tambahnya.

Portofolio Investasi Perusahaan Asuransi

Sumarjono menjelaskan bahwa portofolio investasi perusahaan asuransi tidak terbatas pada saham, melainkan mencakup instrumen lain seperti Surat Berharga Negara (SBN) dan obligasi. Oleh karena itu, pergerakan harga pada instrumen-instrumen tersebut turut memengaruhi total nilai investasi perusahaan.

Atas kondisi ini, OJK meminta setiap perusahaan untuk mengevaluasi strategi investasinya guna menghadapi ketidakpastian pasar. Di saat yang sama, Sumarjono optimistis pemulihan pasar saham dapat mendorong perbaikan kinerja investasi industri asuransi.

"Kita tentu optimistis ke depan kondisi akan lebih baik. OJK terus melakukan berbagai upaya untuk mengembalikan kepercayaan masyarakat, seiring dengan harapan agar kinerja saham dapat segera pulih," pungkas Sumarjono.
