Liputan6.com, Jakarta - Tim dokter Rumah Sakit Cipto Mangunkusumo (RSCM) berhasil melakukan operasi pemisahan bayi kembar siam dempet perut dan tulang ischium (bagian dari panggul) berinisial NA 1 dan NA 2 berusia setahun.

Operasi kompleks tersebut berlangsung selama 36 jam pada September 2026 yang melibatkan sekitar 14 dokter yang terdiri dari dokter bedah anak, bedah plastik, urologi, ortopedi, anestesi hingga gastrohepatologi.

"Jadi, dari tanggal 15 September 2026 hingga keesokan harinya tim bedah ini terus menerus melakukan tindakan operasi," kata Ketua Tim, Prof Dr dr RA Setyo Handryastuti SpA Subsp. Neuro, dalam konferensi pers di RSCM Kiara Jakarta pada Senin (19/10/2026).

Prof Handry mengatakan bahwa pada bayi kembar ini memiliki organ yang terpisah yakni jantung, paru, lambung, usus halus, pembuluh besar di perut, ginjal, kantung kemih dan tulang belakang.

"Tapi ada sebagian organ menyatu seperti sebagian hati, pembuluh darah di hati, usus besar, lalu hanya ada satu anus berfungsi, dan dinding perut bagian depan menyatu," katanya.

Pada bayi NA 1 operasi berjalan sekitar 29 jam. Sementara NA 2 operasi sekitar 23 jam. Bila ditambah dengan persiapan operasi dan pasca operasi total durasi 36 jam.

"Jadi, ini adalah operasi pemisahan kembar siam terlama yang pernah RSCM lakukan," kata Prof Handry.

Dokter bedah anak dokter Riana Pauline Tamba mengungkapkan salah satu tantangan adalah area perut. Lalu, kompleksitas juga saat memisahkan saluran kencing organ kelamin juga bersatu.

Usai operasi bayi kembar siam tersebut masuk di ruang pediatric intensive care unit (PICU).

Kondisi Terkini NA 1 dan NA 2: Stabil

Prof Handry mengungkapkan bahwa kedua anak tersebut sudah stabil. Bahkan per Senin, 19 Oktober 2026 sudah dipindahkan dari PICU ke ruang perawatan biasa.

"Alhamdulillah, hari ini sangat stabil, perawatan luka operasi sudah stabil, anak tidak ada demam, sudah minum dari mulut," katanya lagi.

"Jadi fokus kita sekarang adalah pasca operasi pertama," tambahnya.

Selain itu, para dokter akan terus memantau kondisi anak. Termasuk memantau pertumbuhan dan perkembangan termasuk melibatkan tim dokter dari rehabilitasi medik.

Setelah operasi pertama, beberapa waktu ke depan nanti masih ada beberapa step tindakan lagi agar NA 1 dan NA 2 bisa menjalani kehidupan berkualitas seoptimal mungkin.

"Selanjutnya tentu ada operasi-operasi lanjutan untuk meyakinkan bahwa anak NA1 dan NA2 ini bisa berperan sebagai seorang anak yang seoptimal mungkin," tutupnya.

Biaya Tindakan Pra hingga Pasca Operasi

Direktur Utama RSCM, dr. Supriyanto Dharmoredjo, Sp.B, FINACS, M.Kes, bicara tentang pembiayaan opeasi pemisahan bayi kembar siam NA 1 dan NA 2.

Di kesempatan yang sama Direktur Utama RSCM, dr. Supriyanto Dharmoredjo, Sp.B, FINACS, M.Kes, mengatakan bahwa pembiayaan tindakan pada bayi NA 1 dan NA 2 menggunakan kombinasi skema BPJS Kesehatan dan dana CSR dari rumah sakit tersebut.

"Secara keuangan kalau dihitung itu mungkin klaim yang tidak cukup, tetapi RSCM dengan metode subsidi silang itu bisa dilakukan," kata Supriyanto.

Sehingga tujuan dari tindakan tersebut bukan kapitalisasi melainkan upaya menolong pasien-pasien yang membutuhkan.
