Rumah Sakit Umum Pusat Nasional Dr Cipto Mangunkusumo (RSCM) berhasil memisahkan bayi kembar siam laki-laki dengan kondisi perut, tulang pinggul, hingga saluran kencing yang menyatu. Operasi ini membutuhkan waktu kurang lebih 36 jam.

Direktur RSCM Dr dr Supriyanto, SpB mengatakan, sang ibu yakni Ny NA merupakan pasien BPJS Kesehatan. Lalu untuk biaya operasi pemisahan bayi kembar siam itu sendiri, dirinya mengatakan bahwa RSCM menggunakan subsidi silang, baik itu klaim BPJS Kesehatan maupun dana CSR rumah sakit.

"Di sini tidak membedakan pasien ini BPJS atau tidak, terhadap perbedaan perlakuan," kata dr Supriyanto dalam konferensi pers di RSCM Jakarta Pusat, Senin (19/10/2026).

"Tugas dari RSCM memang untuk mengampu juga proses pendidikan, penelitian, baik itu penelitian klinis dan non-klinis. Ketika ada kasus seperti ini yang kompleks, operasinya saja membutuhkan waktu 36 jam," sambungnya.

Dalam kesempatan yang sama, Ketua Tim Operasi Prof Dr dr R.A. Setyo Handryastuti, Sp.A, Subsp.Neuro mengatakan bahwa semua yang terlibat merupakan dokter-dokter terbaik di bidangnya. Kurang lebih ada 14 dokter untuk dua bayi tersebut, mulai dari bedah anak, bedah plastik, orthopaedi, hingga gastrohepatologi.

"Nah setelah bayi ini lahir, dilakukan evaluasi menyeluruh, dilakukan rapat dengan tim bedah, maka diputuskan operasi akan dilakukan menunggu anak NA1 dan NA2 ini usia 1 tahun. Jadi anak ini lahir Desember 2024," kata dr Handry.

dr Handry menambahkan, tim dokter menemukan kondisi Anak 1 gizinya baik, perawakan pendek, dan motorik kasar terlambat. Sementara Anak 2, gizinya buruk (LiLA 9 cm), perawakan sangat pendek, dan global developmental delay.

"Jadi ini adalah operasi pemisahan kembar siam yang terlama yang pernah dilakukan RSCM," kata dr Handry.

Usai menjalani operasi, kedia bayi tersebut dirawat di ruang pediatrik ICU pada 16 September 2026. Per hari ini, kondisi anak dilaporkan stabil dan dipindah ke ruang perawatan biasa.

RSCM berjanji bahwa anak-anak ini akan mendapatkan perawatan lanjutan terbaik untuk tumbuh kembangnya dan dipastikan tanpa biaya, karena merupakan pasien BPJS.
